Hamsters and Monsters is a personal "pet" project (pun intended) that I've been developing for about 10 years. What started out as just silly interactions between the two worlds quickly grew into something much more.
These interactions were initially captured as a series of watercolor paintings, vignettes of their relationships and their dynamic - but as I continued to grow and evolve, so did they. While their visual appearance has changed, their relationships haven't.
I am so happy with where they are and feel like they're ready
to be something much bigger.
